Day Four - History Arrives - part 3 He started the engine and drove the short distance to the Old Raddles Mission. There was now a circle of plastic blue and white police tape around the ground warning people ‘Police Incident – Do Not Cross’ – he crossed. “Bill” he called and stood waiting just by the tape, not wanting to compromise the scene more than he already had. A middle aged man wearing thin clear gloves and an all in one paper suit complete from hair cover to feet covers came out of the now un-padlocked and open front door. “Ah, Chris, hello. If you want to come in, I’ll get you some cover-alls.” “Depends Bill, have you got anything I need to see?” Bentley responded not feeling the need to undergo the gyrations necessary to get into a SOC scene suit unless he really had to. “No, not really. As you now, we have recovered what appears to be cat fur. There are some very old human bones in the corner, and I mean hundreds of years old, interestingly they are n
Day Four History Arrives Part 2 When they awoke Amanda left the house walked along the lane wearing Vanessa’s dress and retrieved her own from the Mission. She had told Eldred that she ought to go back home, otherwise her mother would be worried and report her missing. “At some point my dear,” he had said, “you will need to leave your mother, and live with us. You can then be what ever shape you want and need not worry about clothes or what your mother thinks.” “But not yet,” she had replied, and gone off to collect her dress. Amanda didn’t know these people, and although she was happy to go along with them and see what might happen, she was not ready to put her lot in with them yet. She then returned Vanessa’s dress and left along the path across the field taking the shorter route home. When Vanessa awoke she felt no different in herself. She looked in her bedroom mirror and could see no difference, there were no fangs that she could see. She felt pangs of hu
Day Four History Arrives Part 1 The conference room door was shut. The room contained only three people. DCI Hart, DI Bentley and DC Jackson. Bentley spoke. “Sir, you need to hear this to the end before you say anything. If you want, you can then have my resignation and I will happily allow you to have me committed.” “What?” DC Christine Jackson exclaimed. DCI Tony Hart simply waved a finger for him to begin. “Sir,” Bentley began, standing in front of a white board, “I am going to go through series of events that have recently happened.” He uncapped a marker pen and began writing as he spoke. “One, Thomas Evans is killed between 2315 and 0115 on the lane by Raddles Mission. His body is found in a field the next morning, there has been heavy disturbance to the body by foxes.” Bentley wrote the time and name on the white board. “Two, between 0045 and 0600, Vanessa Hilt was drugged and raped in her own home around half a mile from Raddles Mission” Bentley wrot
Day Three - Pets, Part 3 Eldred heard the car pull up outside and then voices drifted his way. He grabbed the Felcan and putting his finger upright to his mouth he pulled her into the crypt and pulled the lid closed. They sat silently in the dark, he petting her, both with their senses on full alert, listening intently to events outside their hiding place. “Quite some evidence of people moving about here sir” Christine said pointing to the flattened grass around the mission. “No definite footprints, but some of the broken stalks seem to still be seeping, looks recent to me sir.” Bentley walked around the building, looking at the shuttered windows, the chains through loops of the door handles of the front door, the damaged boarding around the side door taking his attention. He went back to the lane and looked intently at the verge and then walked up and down the lane scouring the surrounds. “Where exactly was the body found?” he called to Christine. “It was in
Day Three - Pets. Part 2 Amanda woke with the scent still in her nostrils, it was intriguing, what was it, who was it, was it another of her kind, a male? She wanted to go and search, and to do so in her feline form was the most likely to be successful, but feline form in the full of day was not wise. She knew that she had gotten away with it yesterday, but she had been holed up most of the day digesting the lamb she had eaten the night before. She had not been running around the countryside. She got up and threw her dress on and left, shouting that she was ‘not hungry’ to her mother who insisted that she have breakfast. She sniffed as she went, and her nose took her along the path towards the old Mission building. The scent was strong here, she prowled around and considered a change to her feline self, but a car going slowly past in the lane dissuaded her from the change. Ekdred’s eyes opened with a snap and he quickly slid the slab to one side and with a single bou
Day Three - Pets. part 1 Bentley sipped the Costa coffee he had got at the petrol station on his way to work. “Right Christine” he said to his DC, “What is new this wonderful day and who is dead that wasn’t yesterday?” “Morning sir. No one dead, as far as I know, nothing coming in for our attention anyway. No more people reporting strange memory lapses and discovering that they have partaken of orgies that they do not recall.” “DNA?” “Due in about half an hour sir, it’ll come through from the labs to you via email. Blood however is in.” “Well woman, come on, spit it out.” “There is the same unknown protein present in both Vanessa Hilt and Leanne Adams blood sir. The lab has never seen it before and cannot as yet identify it beyond being a protein. Oh early results on the semen, it is not semen as such, just seminal fluid, the attacker is firing blanks, fluid but no swimmers, not a single one.” “Right, so we can safely assume the women are not lying, and that
Day Two - Realisation part 3  Vanessa lay back on a high, her mind a whirl of pleasures, her body feeling intoxicated. His sexual touch had been overwhelming and had left her gasping in the intensity of her orgasms, his bite soporific almost post coital in its feel and his voice carried conviction and command, impossible to ignore, his will seemed simply to impose itself upon her. She was both appalled and exhilarated. She had been taken against her will by a monster from fiction and her brain railed against the ridiculousness of his story, yet her body exulted in the obvious pleasures he delivered, and soon, he had said, it would all be hers also. He needed only to feed a few times more from her, and then she from him and her transformation would be complete. Her mind would still be her own, he had said, she would still be Vanessa Hilt, but she would be immortal, she would walk the Earth forever, taking what ever lovers she wanted and with a tremendous power of revenge for those
Day Two - Realisation part 2 Vanessa was still annoyed and not entirely sure that her rape was being dealt with properly. She had been interviewed by the WPC who eventually turned up, probably from taking her GCSE’s Vanessa had concluded. The Doctor that examined her happened to be her own GP, she knew he did police work, and so, that rather intimate examination went as pleasantly as such things could, although he did give her quite a stern telling off for having hosed herself out, that was “Not the way to do it young lady”. Then she had to wait drinking awful cups of Tea whilst she waiting for a police Psychologist to come and talk to her. She was friendly, didn’t discuss the event, which, as Vanessa could not remember any of the event, would have been a short discussion. No she focussed more on how Vanessa felt, what she would do if she suddenly saw the man in the street and recognised him. “Kick him so hard between his legs, that his balls would shoot out his nose” had been Vanessa
